pancakeREVIEW: mark.

A sneak peek of what's to come.
It wasn't until this year that I really got into experimenting with make-up. In fact, this year alone, I've already tried at least four to five different brands, which for me, is a lot. And just to give you some perspective, on a day to day basis, I wear eye liner, mascara, some neutral eye shadow, and lip gloss -- add a little bit of lip tint and maybe some blush if I'm feeling up for it. Two weeks ago, I got my make-up done by my friend (and super talented make-up artist) and was instantly inspired to change things up. So, when Nicole from Avon's mark. make-up line asked me if I was interested in trying out some of their products, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to get out of my comfort zone.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, Avon's mark. line is catered towards a younger demographic, which prides itself on providing women with sassy and fresh trends in both beauty and fashion. Their make-up line is completely customizable, which allows women to mix and match to their heart's desire. mark. features everything from eye shadow to nail polish, so the possibilities are endless. For women who love a great find, appreciate the latest trends, and want quality make-up without breaking the budget, I say meet mark. You'll be happy you did.

"Nailed it" mini lacquers in "Fushia-istic" and "Stay Neutral."
"Ibiza Sol" marbleized lip gloss in "Chica Coral."
"Metalliner" liquid eye-liner in "Blue Chrome."
"Gloss Gorgeous" stay on lip stain in "Bella."
"No Place to Run" eyeliner in "Jet Set."
"It Kit" flip compact featuring lip gloss, eye shadow, bronzer, and multi-use eye, lip, and cheek cream.

"Shine Tubes" lip gloss in "Sugar Almond."
"Glow Baby Glow" lip gloss in "Smooches."
With so many amazing products, it was really hard for me to narrow down my favorites. But, some products definitely stood out. For one, I absolutely LOVED the "Metalliner" liquid eye liner in "Blue Chrome." The thin brush gives you the perfect stroke for a beautiful line. Even better, the blue shade looks stunning on. For people who are afraid to experiment with color and find it hard to stray away from the classic black liner, I say try this one. You'll love it, and that's a promise! I also really adored the "It Kit" flip compact. All of the eye shadows have a soft, glittery tint to them that really shine when you're in the light. Your eyes just light up! I especially enjoyed the color choices. "Ruffle," which is the white shade, makes a great base color for your lids. You can pair this sucker with anything! The "Amped" black color  has to be one of the best blacks I've tried in a while. It's not too dark, so you really get a natural smokey eye. And, the "Vanity" soft blue shade makes a great pair with the "Blue Chrome" liquid liner. Pair the three shades together and your eyes will be sure to make heads turn. All of the lip glosses smell good enough to eat. Seriously, when you put any of these on your lips, your nose will get a delicious scent all day long. I also really liked that they weren't overly sticky. The last thing I want when I wear a lip gloss is that super sticky mess all over my lips! All in all, I'm extremely happy with my mark. products. I think they are a great way to stock up on all the necessities for your face, and allow you to try colors or looks you wouldn't normally try, for a really affordable price. I have to give a very big thank you to Nicole for allowing me to try such a great line!

Who wants a special treat this week? You didn't think I'd gab on about all this amazing make-up and not let you in on the fun, did you? That's right, another pancakePRIZES giveaway is headed your way!
