Marie Claire & Chambord Holiday Cocktail Party

A few weeks ago, I was invited by fellow Bay Area blogger, Carlina of the blog, Allergic to Vanilla, to a holiday cocktail party by Marie Claire Magazine and Chambord Vodka. As soon as I checked my work schedule and realized I was off, I quickly confirmed. It rarely happens that my hectic work schedule coordinates perfectly with any leisure activities. I was so excited to put on a cocktail dress, get dolled up, and make it out for a classy evening in the city. Once I arrived at the Hotel Vitale, where the event was held, I made sure to make the rounds and scope out all the sophisticated cocktail-wear. I do have to admit, however, that I spent most of the night mingling and enjoying a nice night off, rather than snapping photos and putting on my usual blogger badge. While I wasn't able to play photog all night long, I did manage to stop a few stylish ladies and gents for your viewing pleasure. My apologies for my lack of personal outfit pictures, but I'd like to point out the one picture I posted of me shows my naturally curly hair, for all those who have asked! Many thanks to Carlina for inviting me, and it was so wonderful to meet you and your sister!
Starting off the night with a tasty holiday cocktail*

Trendy Twosome: I love how this gentleman used a scarf with gold tones to match his lady. How absolutely gorgeous does she look in that flattering color?
Ferocious Feline: Rocking a simple (and what I'm hoping is faux) fur bolero, oversized ring, classic Chanel bag, and red hot lips, this outfit is the epitome of cocktail chic
Can't Touch This: Don't ask me why he chose to pose this way, but at least his confident charm shines through. Anyone notice the detail on his pants? Gentlemen, take note, all it takes is a statement scarf to give an outfit that extra something that gets you noticed
Couldn't get enough of the Chambord Fleur de Lis cocktail featuring Chambord Liqueur, lemonade, fresh blueberries,  and cranberry juice
Me, Carlina (right), and her sister (middle). How beautiful are these ladies??*
These Chambord models walked around all night like this (glitter and all).
Hey mister DJ*
Kudos to Marie Claire and Chambord for a successful night in the city*

This event was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season (especially considering this happened weeks ago and I'm just now getting around to posting about it). Everything from the music, appetizers, and delicious Chambord-sponsored drinks, to the venue and atmosphere was a perfect blend of fun and relaxation. I hope to meet up with many more Bay Area bloggers, so please don't be shy and let me know if you would like to get coffee (or tea, really, since I don't actually drink coffee...), do a shoot together, of if you'd like to attend an event together! Happy Monday, everyone!

Meeting Bay Area bloggers is always so fun! But I'm in SoCal for the holiday, but hopefully get the chance to meet you (and other Bay Area bloggers) sometime in the future!
